Licensed Associate Counselor
“Feel the Fear and DO it anyway.” (Susan Jeffers). One of the first emotions a client feels about attending therapy is usually fear. It is quite normal to have such a feeling. This is a non-judgment zone and a place where one can feel “safe.” Jessica works with all ages, particularly adolescents with the use of solution-focused therapy, person centered therapy and positive psychology approach to treatment, to name a few. Additionally, Jessica comes from a diverse background and has experience within a multicultural society in which she has a deeper understanding of cultures and respect for cultural competence.
Jessica graduated from New Jersey City University with a Master’s in Counseling with School Counseling Certification in December, 2010. She has ten years of experience as a school counselor and specializes in dealing with adolescents. During her tenure in the educational setting, Jessica obtained her Licensed Associate Counselor licensure in 2014 from New Jersey City University. Jessica is a seasoned Licensed Associate Counselor who works as an Intensive In-Home Clinician and a Nurturing Parent Coach (NPP Certified).
